What common InterNIC problems could I encounter?
The most common problems experienced with InterNIC are from outdated or invalid contact information. Its important to keep the information for the contacts, especially the e-mail address, up-to-date. If a modification to the domain is needed and the e-mail address for the administrative contact is no longer valid, they will not receive the acknowledgment request, and the modification will take much longer.
The other common problem is using a different organization name on the template than that which is currently on file. InterNIC will not allow a transfer to be completed if the organization name and address information does not match. For best results, copy the information directly from the WHOIS and paste it into the order form.
