Openbravo ERP does include an import function that enables the import of Business Partners, Products, Accounts, Orders, Budgets, and taxes. The imported data needs to be in a comma separated file (.csv). and the format of the CSV file must be defined in advance.

Each import requires specific mandatory fields and the data must first be imported into a temporary database table and audited for accuracy and errors.

In fact, importing data into Openbravo ERP is a somewhat complicated process and our experience has been that while almost all customers can effectively export their existing data into .CSV format, most will not be able to correctly import the data into Openbravo without some form of assistance.
